What Pin Wars is

Pin Wars lets groups of golfers run challenges, such as Birdie All 18 and Birdie Race, and keep track of results, teams and leaderboards. Pin Wars is currently free to use.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pin Wars.

Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your password private, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Challenges and what you add

You own what you add to Pin Wars: challenge names and descriptions, course details, team names and results. You give us permission to store it and show it to the members of the challenges it belongs to, so the service can work. This permission ends when it's deleted, except where others in the challenge still rely on it (for example, results in a challenge's history).

Challenge organizers can invite and remove members, manage teams, correct or remove results, and edit, end or cancel their challenges.

Scores are on the honor system

Results are entered by players and organizers. We don't verify them, and we aren't responsible for disputes about who made what. Organizers can correct mistakes.

No money changes hands through Pin Wars

Pin Wars doesn't take, hold or pay out money, and it doesn't offer or support betting. If players in a challenge agree on prizes, entry fees or side bets, that's an arrangement between them, not with us. They're responsible for it, including following the laws that apply where they are.

Using Pin Wars fairly

Please don't:

• Post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Pretend to be someone else, or use another person's account.
• Try to get into challenges, accounts or data you don't have access to.
• Interfere with the service, overload it, or use automated tools to scrape it.

Changes and availability

We're improving Pin Wars and may add, change or remove features. We try to keep it running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Ending your account

You can stop using Pin Wars at any time, and delete your account in the app under Settings, then Delete account (or ask us on our support page). Deleting your account cancels any challenges you own. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk.

Disclaimers

Pin Wars is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't guarantee that results, standings or other information in Pin Wars are accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, wombatguru, LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or winnings, arising from your use of Pin Wars. Our total liability for any claim about Pin Wars is limited to $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update them here with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know in the app or by email. Using Pin Wars after the changes take effect means you accept them.
