Delete your Pin Wars account

In the app

• Open Pin Wars and sign in.
• Tap You, at the bottom of the screen.
• Scroll down to Delete account, tap it, and confirm.

Without the app

Send us a request on our support page from the email address on your account, saying you want your account deleted. We'll delete it and confirm by email, usually within a few days.

What's deleted

• Your sign-in: your email address, your password, and any Google or Apple sign-in.
• Your name, and the handicap you set for yourself.
• Your settings, such as email preferences.
• Your membership of the challenges and groups you're in. Challenges you own are cancelled; a group you own passes to another member, or is deleted if no one else is in it.

What's kept

Some things are part of other players' records, so they stay, without your name: you appear as “Deleted player”.

• Rounds you played with others, with their scores, games and the money worked out between players.
• Birdies, eagles and holes in one recorded in challenges.
• Courses you added, which those rounds and challenges use.

These are kept for as long as the rounds and challenges they belong to. Our hosting provider's technical logs, with details such as IP addresses, are deleted after about 30 days. Questions? Ask us on our support page.
